And next comes the dreaded presentation day.
Presentation of our project on Wednesday @.@ Hope my group doesn't die so bad.
Yesterday I volunteered for helping out at PAssion Run 2010 with my group of friends, Steffen, Fiza, Yaya, Yazlynn, Daniel, Taufik and Azmi. Met up with them with them and had Macs at Bedok. Then took a bus, alighted and walked to our destination. We were given this Lime green shirt. There were quite a number of schools there. Wasn't what I expected since I haven't volunteered myself to a run before. We reported to our sector leaders and was made to sit in our group under the hot sun @.@ I had sunburns even after sitting there for an hour. Climate changes are crazy man.
Went to my station with Yaya and Fiza. We were with RVJC and Tanjong Pagar Sec School. Weird combination. We were in charge of making and distributing 100plus to runners. The formula was 20 bottles of 100plus and 84 plain water. Like wth. 84 bottles of plain water. It tasted like plain water at first as the 100plus were all at the bottom. Mix it and it tasted better. Competitors started running. First few minutes were relaxing. When the whole freaking 10000 people comes. It's not relaxing AT ALL. Everyone were like just pour till it seems enough and move to another cup and everyone keeps missing the cups sometimes. The table was flooded with excess 100plus water hahaha. It was so bad that the ground below our table was flooded with it.
This went on till 7pm, where most people had finished the run. It was one hell of a experience. The JC people can be quite retarded at times xD. Like prancing around to avoid being splashed by the runners. I was glad that everyone helped out as one and not like, avoid us since we're from the stupid school >.> Everyone got down and dirty to ensure the runners have enough to drink. So awesome. The event ended at 11pm. Ugh. But at least there's CIP points. Yeah man. Wish I could work with people like them again.
