New job
I recently started working at Sentosa.
It was quite tiring but also quite fun. So far my job scope is to give towels to guests at the towel stand. It's quite simple actually. Just ask for their room number and give them how many towels they need. The difficult part of this job was to identify who is an outsider and who is not and also to turn down the outsider when they ask for the towel. I need to buck up on that.
I'm still learning how to operate the Sea sport centre. The cashiering part really boggles me and I really hate to handle money that is from the guests. Just imagine, you close the sea sport centre and start tallying all the money, charges etc and you found out that you're short $10. You're going to be in trouble. And a big one. We're also in charge of the kayaks and boats. After the guest finish using the boats you'll have to pull them to the shore. The boats are really heavy. I can't imagine myself lugging it by myself the next time I'm in charge of the centre >.>
Oh yes. The three meals were provided by the hotel. There is a staff lounge where everyone can take their food and sit down to eat. Sad to say the food that they provide taste... mediocre :/ But ahh well, it's free food. I shouldn't be complaining :P I get to collect my pay everyday ^^ instantly a $50 dollar note will fall into my wallet after work. The feeling of touching your own hard earned $60++ pay feels so gooood.
Shall go sleep now.
Stupid computer's got a virus =.=
